We try support local farmers and producers as much as possible. By working directly with local vendors, it allows us to have fresh high quality products and support our neighbors / community. Our long-term vision is to create a cafe that solely supports the agricultural movement at a community level. From farmers to sandwich, we are passionate about encouraging a community of sustainable caretakers.



Real flavor comes from fresh, quality ingredients. If we wouldn’t eat it, we won't use it, which is why we look to our own San Diego community first for ingredients. We consider food local if it’s within a 160 mile radius, hence our name CAFE 160.

Our produce is form local San Diego to provide the freshest of indrigents.

Meat & Dairy
All of our animals are raised without the use of harmful antibiotics, and free of growth hormones. Our organic chicken comes Tecumseh Farms, while our organic turkey, ham, pastrami is from Diestal Farms.  Our milk is 100% grass-fed, raw and organic, and our eggs are cage-free.

Our tuna is from Safe Catch (lowest mercury of any brand) and is the purest you can find.  It's mercury tested, cooked with an artisan cook process, with no additives or fillers.  Sustainably caught by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch.
